International Solar Alliance (ISA) will participate in the World Expo 2025 in Osaka, Japan, from April 13 to October 13, 2025. With the overarching theme "Designing Future Society for Our Lives," at the ISA will: Amplify the voice of the Global South in shaping the energy transition. Promote solar energy as a fundamental driver of equitable and sustainable development. Engage diverse stakeholders, from policymakers to the general public, in discussions about accessible and innovative solar solutions.

Key Themes & Objectives

World Expo 2025, themed “Designing Future Society for Our Lives”, will be held on Yumeshima Island, Osaka, from April 13 to October 13, 2025. The Expo will focus on three sub-themes:

  • Saving Lives
  • Empowering Lives
  • Connecting Lives

Under the overarching theme of “Empowering Lives with Solar Energy,” ISA will focus on:
