The Eighth Meeting of the ISA Regional Committee for the Africa Region brings together Member Countries, development partners, financial institutions and industry leaders to accelerate Africa's clean energy transition through stronger collaboration and country-led implementation. Convened at a critical moment for the continent's solar energy journey, the Meeting provides a platform to review progress, align regional priorities and advance initiatives that support energy access, climate resilience, industrial development and sustainable economic growth.
Building on ISA's strategic pillars, discussions will focus on mobilising blended finance through the Africa Solar Facility, strengthening Country Partnership Frameworks, advancing digitalisation and emerging technologies, promoting solar-powered agriculture, and expanding institutional capacity through STAR Centres and the ISA Academy. Together, these efforts aim to unlock investment, accelerate project implementation and foster long-term partnerships that drive inclusive and resilient solar development across Africa.
