As we harness the power of the sun to produce hydrogen sustainably, it becomes
imperative for all stakeholders, including Least Developed Countries (LDCs) and Small
Island Developing States (SIDS), to stay at the forefront of developments in the emerging
green hydrogen space. The ability to replicate these projects swiftly, once the technology is
commercialised, holds the key to accelerating our transition to a sustainable future.
ISA, as International Partner Organization to India’s G20 Presidency, made significant strides, launching the Green Hydrogen Innovation Centre Portal. Furthermore, the GHIC Initiative was included in the G20 New Delhi Leaders’ Declaration, released during the G20 Leaders’ Summit on September 9, 2023.
ISA has organized Green Hydrogen sessions at various conferences, fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange. Strategic partnerships, including an MoU with the Green Hydrogen Organisation and another with the Denmark Embassy, emphasize global collaboration on standards and the expansion .
ISA endeavors to take center stage in transforming the energy landscape through its Solar for Green Hydrogen program, championing sustainable solutions to pave the way for a cleaner and greener future.
ISA is actively advancing Green Hydrogen initiatives through comprehensive reports, events, partnerships, and projects. Key reports include the ISA-ADB Blueprint for Ecosystem Readiness and the ISA-EIB-Africa Union Report, both providing roadmaps for green hydrogen development.
