Overview

Advancing Scalable Solar Transitions Across Latin America and the Caribbean

The Eighth Meeting of the ISA Regional Committee for Latin America and the Caribbean Region convenes Member Countries, development partners, and regional stakeholders to strengthen collaboration and accelerate the deployment of solar energy across the Region. As the International Solar Alliance advances from agenda-setting to implementation, the meeting serves as a platform to align regional priorities with ISA's strategic pillars, promote knowledge exchange, and drive country-led action.

The Region has made significant progress in expanding renewable energy and electricity access, while continuing to offer strong potential for utility-scale, distributed, and island-based solar deployment. Discussions will focus on digitalisation, emerging technologies, resilient supply chains, capacity building, and targeted support for Caribbean Small Island Developing States (SIDS), fostering practical partnerships that translate ambition into sustainable development outcomes.
